Hi, my name is Mandani Tennakoon and I’m an international student from Colombo, Sri Lanka.  I decided to study abroad in Australia for an entire academic year because I fell in love with Australia the first time I visited and was disappointed I couldn’t spend more time. My experience in Australia gave me lots of friends from all over the world and helped me figure out things about myself and what I wanted to be studying and working with. Also, I love hiking and Australia was the perfect place for it. Learning about the aboriginal culture and enjoying all the pristine beaches are some of my highlights from study abroad.
